Sefa is a Berlin-based Dance Maker and Performer who works with the notion of 'weirding,' which is a state that emerges when different experiences intersect, especially those who are usually pushed to the edges, while emphasizing how ephemeral performed acts are, never happen in the same way, and that's why prioritizing connecting with the material over expecting specific outcomes. She is a graduate of the B.A. Dance, Choreography and Context and with contribution in pieces shown at Sophiensaele and Ballhaus Ost. She locates herself in between performing arts and dance, engaging in public and urban spaces and her research-based approach on dance-making. Her contribution extends to the NGO Critical Queer Solidarity, facilitating workshops around themes of queerness and bodies.
