Seneca Intensiv is a non-profit educational institution for artistic movement in Berlin-Marzahn. We offer an open, respectful learning environment where physical awareness, creative practice and professional development sit at the heart of the moving performing arts, and where dance, circus, physical theatre and voice learn from one another. Whether you're just starting out or already working professionally, our programmes offer in-depth training that meets you as an individual artist.

What we offer

Educational Year Programmes: 10 months of intensive training in dance, contemporary circus or physical theatre. You can add voice training to dance or physical theatre (+ Voice). These programmes are for you if you're preparing to apply to a performing arts school, if you're an artist who wants to explore a new discipline, or if you'd like to spend a sabbatical in the movement arts.

Professional development courses: for freelance movement artists, in choreography and artistic practice (CCA), production and administration (PCA), and movement education (Move & Teach).

Production & Management Workshops: up to 40 hours free of charge for Berlin freelance artists, plus free one-to-one consultations.

Performance opportunities: open stages such as Backfertig, for works-in-progress and new artistic ideas.
