SAMIRA AAKCHA
Samira is a German/Moroccan freelance dancer/performer and dance teacher based in Berlin.2018 she got her diploma in dance pedagogy at “Tanz-Zentrale Leipzig”  and in 2021 she successfully graduated from the contemporary dance “DANCEWORKS Berlin”. She has been dancing and touring with Harake Dance Company for one year and has been working for different choreographers in and around Berlin. As well as dancing in several music and experimental videos.In January 2023 she assisted Christina Mertzani and Evangelos Poulinas for their Partnering Workshop. As well, she has been a rehearsal assistant for Christina Mertzanis Performance Project “Apotypoma” at b12 Festival Berlin in July 2023.
In May 2023 her first co-production “From The Narrators Chair '', choreographed and performed by Giulia Lampugnani and Samira Aakcha, Sounddesign Constantin Carstens, premiered at A.PART Festival Berlin 2023. As well in collaboration with the music Duo “Moloch & Nadiya”  she produced her first music and dance video “Home”.During a four week residency program as part of the ada studio residency program, in March and April 2024 together with Bresa Ayub, she developed a performance structure based on her movement language and the moroccan and syrian traditional dances. The working title is „What is connecting us?“ and was presented in the Ada Studios on 12.04.2024.
Samiras approach to creative and artistic work is to dive into different energetic states of being. Her own artistic work and research is physically demanding as well as putting focus on generating energy between dancer and the group as well as the audience.

Samira ist eine deutsch/marokkanische freischaffende Tänzerin/Performerin und Tanzlehrerin mit Sitz in Berlin.2018 erhielt sie ihr Diplom in Tanzpädagogik an der “Tanz-Zentrale Leipzig” und 2021 schloss sie erfolgreich ihr Studium an der Zeitgenössischen Tanzschule “DANCEWORKS Berlin” ab. Nach ihrem Abschluss tourte sie mit der Harake Dance Company und arbeitete für verschiedene Choreographinnen in und um Berlin. Außerdem tanzt sie in verschiedenen Musik- und Experimental-Videos.
Im Januar 2023 assistierte sie Christina Mertzani und Evangelos Poulinas bei ihrem Partnering Workshop. Außerdem war sie Proben Assistentin für Christina Mertzani's Performance-Projekt "Apotypoma" beim b12 Festival Berlin im Juli 2023.Im Mai 2023 wurde ihre erste Koproduktion "From The Narrators Chair '', choreographiert und aufgeführt von Giulia Lampugnani und Samira Aakcha, Sounddesign Constantin Carstens, beim A.PART Festival Berlin 2023 uraufgeführt. Außerdem produzierte sie in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Musikduo "Moloch & Nadiya" ihr erstes Musik- und Tanz Video "Home".
Im März und April 2024, entwickelte sie zusammen mit Bresa Ayub eine Performance Struktur, die auf ihrer Bewegungssprache und den traditionellen marokkanischen und syrischen Tänzen basiert. Der Arbeitstitel lautet "What is connecting us?" und wurde am 12.04.2024 in den Ada Studios präsentiert.Samiras Ansatz für kreative und künstlerische Arbeit ist es, in verschiedene energetische Zustände des Seins einzutauchen. Ihre eigene künstlerische Arbeit und Forschung ist legt den Fokus auf die Erzeugung von Energie zwischen Tänzer*innen und der Gruppe sowie dem Publikum.
