Biography
Hi! My name is Maria (she/her). I am a dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, writer and curator based in Berlin. I graduated from HZT Berlin in 2022 with a BA in Dance, Context, Choreography.
My interests lie in the relationship to my body, especially its boundaries and limitations. Part careful attention, part controlling and testing, I experiment with the possibility of trusting the emotional and intelligent body to communicate, to tell a story.
My questions surrounding the body, our interactions with each other and access of dance and movement spaces heavily influence my creative work and find expression in performances, costumes, illustrations, dance and movement classes, texts and my work as a curator.
Since 2020 I work in collaboration with dance artist Liisi Hint.
