Biography

The cie. toula limnaios (cie. = compagnie) was founded in 1996 by choreographer and dancer Toula Limnaios together with composer Ralf R. Ollertz. Since then, the eight-member ensemble has developed into one of the most successful contemporary dance companies in Germany.
With around 60–70 performances each year in Berlin as well as on international stages across Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America, cie. toula limnaios captivates audiences worldwide.
Its production and performance venue is the HALLE Tanzbühne Berlin. The listed former gymnasium from the 19th century was converted in 2003 into a private theater with 140 seats and has since established itself as an internationally recognized stage for contemporary dance in the heart of Berlin.
