I'm a Ugandan professional contemporary dancer with a strong base in Ugandan traditional dances and tribal spiritual practices. I have a decade and a half of experience performing and teaching dance in Uganda, Germany, USA, Sweden and Switzerland. I have toured internationally with Keiga Dance Company, performing at various venues. I was part of a cultural exchange collaboration of Keiga Dance Company with Red Clay Dance Company/ Chicago Illinois (USA) in a Trans Atlantic Project, this collaboration period ended with performances of the piece EKILI MUNDA /what lies within at THE DANCE CENTER OF COLUMBIA COLLEGE CHICAGO in 2017/2018. In 2019 I performed the dance piece A HEY A MAMA MA, choreographed and directed by Christoph Winkler at the Ballhaus Ost Berlin theater. In 2019 I worked with performing: group in a collaboration with theater strahl in the dance production CAN TOUCH THIS, created by Leandro Kees and company. In 2020 I performed a dance piece IT'S ALL FORGOTTEN NOW choreographed by Christoph Winkler. Since 2021 I have performed in PLAY choreographed by Mirjam Gurtner. I am based in Berlin and currently working at the KOMISCHE OPER as a freelance dancer.
