Maria Colusi is an Argentinian dancer and choreographer based in Berlin. She was a member of the Contemporary Ballet of the Teatro General San Martín, Tangokinesis Company in Buenos Aires, and Sasha Waltz & Guests, after which she began developing her own artistic work. Her practice engages choreography, sound, and perception as interconnected fields, with a focus on the body as a sensitive and relational system in constant transformation. Rather than representing form, her work explores how movement participates in the construction of experience and reality in real time.Her work has been presented at venues and festivals including DOCK11, Soundance Festival ACUD Theater, Mercurio Festival Palermo, Once Festival Freiburg, and Delphi Theater. She has received grants and support from the Akademie der Künste, the Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Europe, and the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland through DIS-TANZEN.
