Biographie

Joanna Woźnicka is a multidisciplinary artist whose work often explores identity, belonging, and the emotional spaces between people. She blends poetry, dance, and theatre to create works that resonate through tenderness and reflection, guiding people towards understanding and observation without judgement. Among her past creative works are the solo dance-poetry theatre show Ruptured (Camden Theatre, London, 2024) and short films Guidebook for the After (Independent, 2023) and Silence and Her Roommate (BBC New Creatives, 2021). She has also choreographed performances for international Whacking festivals, helped organise Berlin's firt ever Whacking Dance Festival, and most recently partook in a mentoring programme by Walashé dance collective.
